“ Who drew that?” I heard her voice from the doorway, I looked over to see Grace standing there pointing at my roll-down window blind. ”I did” I replied, “you should do something with that talent you have young man! What you drew there is really well done”! I was 14 years old, Steve, her son, was my best friend, we were neighbors. I had drawn a replica of the “Shelby Cobra” logo on my window blind. I had no idea I had artistic potential until Grace inspired me and was instrumental in the path I took from that point on! She influenced my life in the most positive way!

"I'm a composer who uses a camera instead of a piano"
The pictures you see here are my favorites, the first group I'm publishing now are mainly the ones that were collected, selected for exhibition or received some other recognition.
They're also members of individually themed albums that I've crated over time.
There are several common ideas (motifs) that are foundational to much of the work you'll be seeing here, one is "visual music" followed by “static motion" and the last is the interaction between "luminance" and "resonance"
As you scroll down you'll see information about each one including the story within the vision on display.

Wendy was my sister in law and Peonies were her favorite flower.
She had been in the ICU for months, fighting for her life.
I made this picture shortly after visiting her at a point where she had made great progress and appeared to be on the verge of being released.
Unfortunately she suddenly took a turn for the worse and was unable to recover from her illness. This picture is a tribute to her memory.

Raintree was ceated while on a walk around St. Simons Ga. The combination of the layers of reflection and the contrasts of tonality serves-up a dynamic vision. A melodic array of raindrops that ranges from almost total black to almost total white spread across a bluish-gray mottled sky gives the viewer a resonating soundscape to ponder....
